I'm having issues with HMR in Visual Studio 2015 (Update 3, running with ctrl-F5), but I think the issue is with webpack. I've just created a new .NET Core Angular 2 template from scratch. It runs fine, however when I make any changes these aren't applied. I've not made any changes to the settings, so I'm using the following versions (from package.json):
But well, I guess this is part of the Apple vs Microsoft war, at least I don’t have to purchase another webcam now. The App name is: they also have a blog if you want to get more info. Cam studio for mac. Its a little bit strange that Apple doesn’t support this camera which costs around USD 80 (Its not a cheap one) and the idea of having another App always running just make something I think should be supported by OS X bothers me a little bit.
I'm using Node version 4.6.1:
NPM version 3.10.8:
For manual building I installed webpack globally using
npm install -g webpack following the guide here. It's version 1.13.3 (as seen in compile output below)
There's a couple of things I've noticed.
Visual Studio for Mac is still in preview and having a preview IDE with preview feature is probably going to be impossible to work. Try with Xamarin Studio, if you can get that to work, then I would wait on the VS for Mac until its officially released and the team responsible for the Previewer have had a chance to update. I have a WPF project where it sometimes takes extremely long time to save a module. (I see the little saving floppy pulsating 'forever' and nothing happens for several minutes). Often I have to use the Task Manager to end Visual Studio and then start over again.

So I installed Visual Studio Community 2015 last week, and it took about an hour and a half. I then added C++ to it by going to add/remove programs then modified the install, that took over an hour. Our aspiration with Visual Studio for Mac is to bring the Visual Studio experiences that developers have come to know and love on Windows to the MacOS and to provide an excellent IDE experience for all.NET cross-platform developers. The only annoying thing is it takes forever for the external drive to eject from the Mac. Not sure why. I can run multiple instances of visual studio without issue plus all of the normal developer software.
This doesn't seem right.

Even if I refresh the page, the changes are not applied. I have noticed however that the server-rendering has the change, but then this is quickly replaced by an unmodified main-client.js. Here's an example:
The only solution I've found is to close the browser, re-build with visual studio and re-launch the IIS server. I cant find any settings to configure the webpack process, so I'm struggling to find out what's wrong and why it isn't working.

Hi guys,
I have VS 2015 with ReSharper. This dialog keeps popping up in the middle of my screen every few minutes:
What is the purpose of the 'Loading Symbols' process? What features will be affected if i cancel it to disable future symbol loading?
Also, I can still use the text editor without having to close the dialog. But it covers up what i'm trying to read and i have to keep moving it out of the way. Can i disable the notification and just have symbol loading going on in the background?
Thanks!!
